Peperomia Graveolens, you’ll be pleased to learn, is a low care houseplant. It really doesn’t require that much fuss and can be a very easy plant for beginners who are just getting into plants.
One of the things that makes it such a low care houseplant is the fact that it doesn’t need that much watering. Peperomia Graveolens doesn’t like to sit in water or soggy soil and prefers to be left to dry out between waterings. So if you’re someone who doesn’t want to water their plant often or forgets about them from time to time your Peperomia should do just fine.
Another great thing about these plants is that they’re quite tolerant of different levels of humidity. They can do well in higher levels but can also do well in lower levels of humidity. So to take care of a Peperomia Graveolens you don’t need to worry too much about the humidity levels of where you live and you also probably don’t need to invest in a humidifier either.
The final point that makes this such a low effort houseplant is that it doesn’t grow very quickly. The Graveolens is a slow growing plant which means you won’t have to trim it back/prune it or repot it all that often.
This plant makes a great plant for beginners. It’s small and cute, can fit in most spaces and is tolerant to a bit of neglect. If you begin to enjoy caring for plants, like Peperomia but want something a bit more challenging then there are plenty of other Peperomia plants that you could try out that require a bit more care.
